|Singapore Promotes Carbon Reduction: Airlines Required to Use SAF From 2026
The aviation industry accounts for 2% to 3% of global carbon dioxide emissions and is one of the most challenging sectors to decarbonize. Singapore's Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat recently announced that all flights departing from Singapore will be required to use Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) as part of the carbon reduction plan starting from 2026.

|High Demand for CSO Positions in Germany
Following the implementation of the German Supply Chain Act, which requires large companies to safeguard human rights and the environment, the demand for Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) positions has surged. The ESG talent market is thriving, with career changers also being highly sought after. CSO roles have shifted from executing social responsibility to driving business strategy, with salaries varying based on industry, experience, and location, reaching up to €200,000 for medium-sized companies.

|Giant Tiger Head Bees Build Nests with Sky Lantern Paper Threatening Environmental Ecology
Pingxi and Shifen sky lanterns in New Taipei are representative of Taiwan's Lantern Festival traditions, but approximately 300,000 lantern remnants each year pose environmental and ecological threats. Recently, it was discovered that tiger-headed bees use sky lantern paper to build nests. To mitigate environmental impacts, teams have developed eco-friendly sky lanterns using recycled paper pulp instead of wireframes, aiming to promote widespread adoption and achieve environmental sustainability.
