|Finland's Green Deal Agreement Promotes Zero-Emission Construction Sites and Gradually Phasing Out Fossil Fuels
Finland's "Voluntary Green Deal Agreement" is making significant progress toward achieving zero emissions in construction zones. All construction companies consider zero emissions at construction sites a crucial aspect of their operations. Utilizing monitoring systems, over half of the construction areas operate heavy machinery with no fossil fuel, reducing harmful exhaust emissions.

|Saudi Arabia and Egypt Sign $1.5 Billion Wind Power Agreement
ACWA Power and the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) have signed a cooperative agreement to build wind power stations in the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Zeit. ACWA CIO Thomas Brostrom stated that the project would incorporate the latest technology with 220-meter tall turbines. With a planned capacity of 1.1 GW and a $1.5 billion investment, this is set to become the largest wind power project in the Middle East.

|Taipower Forecasts Industrial Recovery in Q2 Driving Peak Load Beyond 4,100 MW This Year
Regarding the power supply situation in 2024, Taipower stated on the 16th that an industrial recovery is expected in Q2. Semiconductor factories resuming production will drive this year's peak load to exceed 4,100 MW. Additionally, four units, totaling 443.66 MW, will be added to the power supply this year, marking the highest annual unit online capacity in history.
