CynLing Renewables and the international fund will operate under a Limited Partnership structure as the investment vehicle.

Amid the global wave of energy transition, CynLing Renewables Inc. has reached another key milestone, officially announcing a strategic partnership with a Singapore-based asset management firm that operates professional teams across major financial hubs, including Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Tokyo.

Through a Cayman Islands–registered and licensed fund platform adopting a Limited Partnership (LP) structure as the investment vehicle, the collaboration will focus on financeable behind-the-meter energy asset projects and the deployment of AI-powered energy storage technologies in the Taiwan market.

This initiative not only introduces international capital and professional asset management expertise into Taiwan's behind-the-meter energy market but also delivers more reliable energy investment opportunities and innovative solutions.

"We are delighted to partner with this Singaporean asset management company. This collaboration will significantly enhance the investment resources and environment for behind-the-meter storage projects, while accelerating the application and promotion of our strengths in energy data science and AI," said CynLing Renewables founder, Justin Lan.

International Fund Makes First Investment in Taiwan's Behind-The-Meter Energy Storage Assets

The Singapore-based international asset management firm has long focused on sustainability and energy innovation, with a mission to drive the global clean energy transition and deliver carbon-reduction solutions. This collaboration with CynLing Renewables marks the fund's first entry into Asia's behind-the-meter energy storage sector.

According to the fund's management team, the decision was based on CynLing Renewables' demonstrated strengths in AI-driven energy management and advanced financial modeling capabilities. To further enhance lender confidence in behind-the-meter storage financing and mitigate associated risks, CynLing Renewables has also partnered with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to develop corporate risk assessment reports tailored to behind-the-meter investment projects.

This innovative approach represents a significant breakthrough, effectively addressing core pain points in behind-the-meter energy investment. By providing transparent risk evaluation and robust investment structures, the partnership is positioned to create long-term and sustainable value for global investors.

CynLing currently manages over 60 sites across Taiwan, and combined with the behind-the-meter energy investment fund, these projects can serve as well-structured reference investment targets for investors.

In terms of cooperation structure, the parties will operate under a limited partnership fund model: the fund platform will act as the fund manager, responsible for determining investment strategies; CynLing Renewables will serve as the General Partner (GP), overseeing project development, investment management, and performance optimization; while investors and Limited Partners (LPs) will provide the necessary capital commitments. This model combines flexibility with transparency, ensuring that investment projects are executed under professional governance and rigorous financial oversight.

As one of the few companies in Taiwan deeply engaged in both the planning and operation of behind-the-meter energy storage and renewable energy projects, CynLing Renewables continues to build its competitive edge through the proprietary ForwardAI Energy Management System. This system integrates precise physical modeling with advanced AI algorithms to accurately forecast photovoltaic-energy-storage generation and load profiles, while employing reinforcement learning to dynamically optimize charge-discharge strategies.

By enabling high-reliability investment forecasts at the planning stage and ensuring execution accuracy during operations, the system bridges projected returns with realized performance. These capabilities have been a decisive factor in driving the strategic partnership between the two parties.

In addition to announcing its collaboration with the international fund, CynLing Renewables also revealed plans to showcase its innovations at Smart Storage Taiwan 2025, to be held from October 29 to 31 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The company will feature a large-scale exhibition booth presenting the latest advancements of its ForwardAI platform, further demonstrating its innovation capabilities to global investors and energy partners.
