The Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm Sustainable Development Fund announced the launch of the "Wind-Inspired Generation Leaders Action" renewable energy and science summer camp for elementary schools in six coastal townships in Changhua County on August 2nd. This initiative, held at Tung Xing Elementary School, Shengang Xingang Elementary School, Xishih Elementary School, and Fangyuan HLES Elementary School, is a collaboration between China Steel Corporation and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners as part of the "Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm Project" development.
The goal of the fund is to enhance education, promote local development, and support vulnerable elderly communities in the coastal townships. The summer camp focuses on the STREAM concept (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), incorporating diverse courses and local cultural elements. By fostering children's understanding of renewable energy and the environment, the program aims to broaden their perspectives and learning opportunities, cultivating future talents for the nation.
