Throughout this year, Vena Energy has remained steadfastly committed to actively participating in local initiatives, fulfilling social obligations, and cultivating enduring environmental and social benefits alongside communities and stakeholders. In line with this commitment, Vena Energy announce the launch of the "Community Mutual Benefit Program". This initiative aims to foster sustainable development by inviting qualified local project teams from Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan to apply for assistance from project-based power development fund. The application deadline for this program is May 31, 2024.

"Sustainability stands as the cornerstone of Vena Energy's development ethos. As we advance green energy initiatives, we aspire to become valued neighbors within the local power plant community, fostering growth in the surrounding areas. Moreover, we are dedicated to assisting local teams in materializing their aspirations," stated Wen-Zheng Lee, President of Vena Energy Taiwan.

Organizations such as governmental agencies, offices, agricultural and fishery associations under the jurisdiction of Yunlin County, Chiayi County, and Tainan City, as well as government-approved non-profit entities, are encouraged to participate in the implementation within Taixi Township and Kouhu Township of Yunlin County, Yizhu Township of Chiayi County, Yanshui District of Tainan City, and other peripheral areas of power plants. To apply for the Community Mutual Benefit Program, interested parties must complete and submit a formal written application form. The proposed initiatives may encompass themes related to green energy, social welfare, environmental conservation, educational and cultural promotion, as well as community development endeavors.

The selection process entails the participation of representatives from local public offices, non-profit organizations, scholars, experts, and Vena Energy. These stakeholders will jointly review written proposals, prioritizing alignment with local and public values, as well as the advancement of environmental and social interests. The finalized list of selected proposals will be announced on Vena Energy's official website by the end of June.
