Vena Energy hosted the opening ceremony of the Yunlin Xinxing Power Plant on World Earth Day (April 22nd ). The Xinxing Power Plant is the largest solar power island in Taiwan, covering an area of 226 hectares and equipped with 680,000 solar modules, with an installed capacity of 272 MW and an annual power generation of 400 million kWh, which can provide electricity for 90,000 households. It is the highest single-site power generation capacity in Taiwan. Since leasing the Yunlin Xinxing Industrial Zone from the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2019, Vena Energy has developed the Yunlin Island Industrial Zone into Taiwan's largest solar power field over the past four years.

President Ing-wen Tsai attended the opening ceremony of the Yunlin Xinxing Power Plant and said, "I am very happy to witness the opening of Taiwan's largest solar power island. The operation of Vena Energy's Xinxing Power Plant symbolizes a new milestone in Taiwan's green energy transformation. Taiwan's goal is to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, which is also the goal of the world. The carbon tariffs in Taiwan will be implemented from November this year. Next, the government will gradually promote the use of 100% green energy, with an estimated turnover of up to NTD 5 trillion. Currently, 25 companies have joined RE100, and hundreds of companies have expressed their demand for green energy, driving the upstream and downstream of the energy industry to benefit from investments of over one trillion NTD. Taiwan will seize the new employment and development opportunities in the renewable energy industry through low-carbon and zero-emission development as soon as possible."

With sustainable development as its core value, Vena Energy has successfully developed seven commercial solar power plants across Taiwan, promoting the use of renewable energy throughout the country. Nitin Apte, CEO of Vena Energy, said, "Taiwan is a key strategic market for renewable energy in the Asia-Pacific region. It is gratifying to see Taiwan steadily moving towards its energy transformation vision. As a developer with resources and achievements, Vena Energy will continue to develop comprehensive sustainable energy projects and become a strong pillar to accelerate Taiwan's energy transformation."
