Martin Tzou, General Manager of Fluence Energy Taiwan, stated, "Leveraging Fluence Energy's rich experience in the Transmission System Operator (TSO) field, we aim to address regional challenges such as grid congestion in Taiwan. By further integrating Fluence's AI digital software tools, such as Nispera™ Asset Performance Management Software for Energy Storage and Renewables, we can effectively accelerate the development of Taiwan's renewable energy industry."

With over 8.7 GW of energy storage systems deployed globally across 47 markets, Fluence shared insights and prospects for the global and Taiwanese energy storage markets during the event. Following the opening ceremony, Fluence also hosted the seminar, inviting experts in the field to share professional knowledge on various energy storage technologies, with a particular focus on "Energy Storage Safety Design and Fire Testing."

According to the latest statistics from Taiwan's Energy Administration, as of the end of 2023, Taiwan's cumulative installed capacity of renewable energy reached 17,916 MW. In recent years, both the quantity and capacity of renewable energy installations have shown double-digit growth. With the increasing adoption of renewable energy, the industry's demand for energy storage applications is also growing, especially in the process of energy transition, where energy storage is crucial for the stable operation of the power grid. Since 2021, Fluence has been deeply involved in the Taiwanese market, accumulating experience with over 10 energy storage projects in Taiwan, with a combined capacity of 170 MW already connected to the grid.
