Wind Energy and Environmental Education Exhibition kicks off at the 'Changhua Flower Festival'
Skyborn Renewables and local developer Lealea Group's Channel Offshore Wind is participating in the '2023 Flowers in Changhua' event. They are holding the 'Wind Energy and Environmental Education Exhibition' at Changhua Xi Zhou Park from January 22nd to February 5th. The theme of the exhibition is "Offshore Wind Farm - Favorable Winds in a Whirl of Energy", and it will incorporate imagery of wind energy and knowledge of renewable energy into the design, using 100% recyclable iron structures and local plants. The exhibition will also feature a two-day "Favorable Winds in a Whirl of Energy - Family Challenge Tour" that uses interactive games to educate the public about wind energy and the environment. Everyone is welcome to come to Changhua and join this sustainable carnival that combines art, ecology, and new green energy knowledge during the Spring Festival holiday!
During the exhibition, a special "Follow the Wind and Power Up - Parent-Child Adventure Challenge" environmental education activity will be held on January 28th and February 5th. The event will feature a variety of interactive experiences, including a "100 People Colorful Wind Turbine Painting Activity" on January 28th, where on-site art assistants will guide the public in using acrylic paint to freely express their creativity and create unique, colorful wind turbines on wind turbine models. On February 5th, Taiwan Nature Research Society EIET (Eco-Interpreter Education Training Camp) will be invited to plan six exciting ecological and scientific activities, allowing adults and children to interact and learn about ocean ecology and renewable energy through games. At the same time, by completing designated tasks on the day of the event, participants can get a special wind turbine cookie and a "Follow the Wind and Power Up New Year Card."
The Chairman of Skyborn Renewables, Yun-I Wang, stated, "The offshore wind farm is located in the sea off Fangyuan, Changhua, and is the 28th site announced by the government. It is about 14 kilometers offshore and has been allocated 600 MW of development rights." She also said, "We are very happy to participate in the "Flowers in Changhua 2023" corporate display event this year. We use plants carefully grown by Changhua local flower farmers and promote wind energy and ecological knowledge through the design of the exhibition hall and environmental education activities, combining flower art and wind energy imagery. We hope to bless our friends and family with a new year of bountiful and smooth flow of electricity."
