Message from the Founder (and Response to Media Clarification)

In 2022, EnergyOMNI was founded amidst a severe lack of resources.

The initial motivation was simple—a child’s drawing of a wind turbine and bees at sea. It sparked a desire to create something memorable for her, hoping that she would feel proud of her mother as she grew up.

This is why the cover of EnergyOMNI's magazine always features children's drawings.

As the business concept became clearer, we hoped that EnergyOMNI would resonate with people, providing a platform for the younger generation to voice their thoughts and to create something they and future generations could be proud of.

In 2024, as EnergyOMNI enters its third year, the hardships of the early days are something only those who have experienced them can truly understand.

Professionalism and principles are my foundation, the cornerstone of our company’s reputation, and my way of respecting the industry, our partners, and readers who appreciate EnergyOMNI.

In the journey of entrepreneurship, I am responsible for the shared beliefs of my team and even more so for the company's brand.

As fellow media professionals, we have a duty to ensure clarity and verify content before dissemination, out of respect for our readers and professional ethics. As the founder and editor-in-chief, I, along with the EnergyOMNI team, rigorously safeguard the swift flow of information.

During this recent media reporting incident, EnergyOMNI received unexpected concern, support, and trust. This has been a great encouragement to us as a media outlet, as a company, and to me as a person in charge.

Therefore, I would like to clarify:

EnergyOMNI is an independent media entity and has never received support from the government or any political party, nor is it a "quasi-government media." The notion of "quasi-government media" is baseless.

EnergyOMNI is merely a group of people who aspire to transcend national boundaries in Taiwan’s energy and media industries, align the industry with net-zero carbon emissions, and create a better industry environment.
