Legislative Yuan Sun-Han Hung stated that the utilization of renewable energy is closely related to the governance of natural resources, and as Taiwan does not have a dedicated agency responsible for natural resources, the Executive Yuan's Sustainability Council should establish a cross-departmental task force for natural resources governance in its functional transformation.

Wen-Ling Hong, Deputy Minister of the Ocean Affairs Council, stated that the Ocean Basic Act will be used to actively collect ocean data. Which will be established by the National Academy of Marine Research and coordinated with various units.

Chun-Li Lee, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of Energy, stated that floating offshore wind, ocean energy and hydrogen will be listed as major visionary energy fields. In response to the international development of hydrogen energy, Taiwan currently has a demonstration project of hydrogen co-firing initiated by TaiPower Company and Siemens, as well as a collaboration between CSC and CPC Corporation to initiate steel-making co-production for industrial applications.
