SHINFOX ENERGY Making Its First as the Only Green Energy Stock by Selected for "TaiwanFINI100"

For the 3rd consecutive year, the Taiwan Institute of Directors and the Center for Corporate Development have simulated the investment methods of various global institutional investors, releasing the annual "Taiwan FINI 100" The award ceremony was held today (25th), featuring notable guests such as Louise Hsiao, Vice President of Taiwan, and Sherman Lin, Chairman of TWSE, invited to deliver speeches.

The TaiwanFINI100 is Taiwan's first award linked to foreign investments. Among the 54 companies making their debut on the list this year, SHINFOX ENERGY stands out as the only green energy stock, demonstrating the growing appeal of the renewable energy sector amid global climate challenges, net-zero environmental initiatives, and increasing electricity demand from AI developments, which are straining power grids.

The Taiwan Institute of Directors highlighted that the Taiwan FINI 100 has a market capitalization threshold of USD 500 million. The ranking considers changes in foreign investor holdings over the past year and assesses companies based on market factors, fundamentals, and sustainability. This objective evaluation results in the selection of the top 100 companies.

Among the Taiwan FINI 100 companies, 19 have been listed for three consecutive years, with their collective market value representing 46% of the total market. Based on market capitalization, companies are classified into large (over USD 5 billion), medium (USD 500 million to USD 5 billion), and small (below USD 500 million). Medium-sized companies dominate the list with 62 entries, followed by large companies with 24 entries.

From a market perspective, the average market capitalization of the top 100 companies is USD 3.3 billion, which is 3.7 times the market average (excluding TSMC). The average foreign ownership is 26%, which is 3 times the market average, and foreign holdings have increased an average of 6.2%.

SHINFOX ENERGY's market capitalization is approximately NTD 31.2 billion, with foreign ownership at 6%, up by 4.8%. The company ranks 69th and shows strong potential for future growth.

Regarding industry distribution, the top 100 companies are divided into 5 main sectors: technology, traditional industries, real estate, consumer goods, and healthcare. The technology sector leads with 71 companies, followed by 19 in traditional industries, 7 in consumer goods, 2 in real estate, and 1 in healthcare.

The top 100 companies showed strong operational performance over the past 3 years (2021 to 2023). Their average compound annual revenue growth rate was 2.4%, outperforming the market's -2.65%. In 2023, their average net profit margin was 15.5%, which was 2.7 times higher than the market's 5.8%. Additionally, the average return on equity for the top 100 companies was 16%, 3 times the market average of 5.19%.
