Baseload Power Taiwan Collaborates with Taiwan's Geoscience Community to Advance Geothermal Energy Education and Talent Development

　　Baseload Power Taiwan has initiated the MOU at 2023 Annual Geosciences Conference on 18th May, partnership with 8 leading institutions and universities from geoscience field including Geological Society located in Taipei, Taiwan Geothermal Association, Science and Technology energy in the Research Institute for DE-Carbonziation at NTU, Department of Geological Sciences at NTU, Department of Earth Sciences at NTNU, Department of Geology at CCU, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at NCCU, Department of Resources Engineering at NCKU.

　　This industry-NGO-academia partnership is aimed to collaborate on geothermal energy education and #talent development in Taiwan, containing three major areas of cooperation, including providing internship programs intending to bridge the gap between industry and higher education, equip local talents with practical experiences and encourage more young professionals to join in the industry, sharing global knowledge and networking activities will be held by all parties, leveraging Baseload’s global platform and experiences as well as academia’s local networks, and further raising awareness of geothermal energy toward the public.
