HD Renewables Energy (HDRE, TWSE: 6873), a leading brand in smart energy, continues to uphold its mission as a sustainable enterprise. In addition to advancing energy transition and environmental protection, the company actively supports cultural promotion and social engagement.

In 2025, HDRE is sponsoring a range of arts and cultural initiatives, including the Golden Bell Award–nominated children's program "Solar Terms × Six Sense Lab", the "Sacred Trees: A Journey on the Alishan Forest Railway" documentary co-produced by Taiwan Public Television Service (PTS) and Japan's NHK, featured at a Tokyo cinema screening event—along with the Formosa 3D Association's outreach series and the Guruji World Percussion Ensemble project. Through these initiatives, HDRE demonstrates its ESG commitment to social responsibility, amplifying the sustainable impact of culture and education.

The program "Solar Terms × Six Sense Lab" received double nominations at this year's Golden Bell Awards for Best Children’s Program and Best Sound Design. Through immersive six-sense experiences, the show blends art with ecological education, guiding children to explore the 24 solar terms of the traditional calendar. Its segments—"Seasonal Table," "Nature Stage," "Animation Time Machine," and "Secret Base"—emphasize the connection between daily life and the cycles of nature.

HDRE supported the program's production, extending its long-standing commitment to energy education in schools and deepening the integration of culture, nature, and sustainability in education.

In the field of international cultural exchange, HDRE supported the special screening in Tokyo of the documentary "Sacred Trees: A Journey on the Alishan Forest Railway," a documentary jointly produced by PTS and NHK. Captured in stunning 8K ultra-high definition, the film chronicles the breathtaking landscapes and century-old human stories along the Alishan Forest Railway, showcasing the achievements of cross-language and cross-regional collaboration between Taiwan and Japan's public broadcasters. The documentary stands as a significant audiovisual work dedicated to cultural preservation and the transmission of historical memory.

In its long-term partnerships, HDRE has supported the Formosa 3D Association, led by director Charlie Chu, since 2021. The collaboration encompasses several projects, including the "3D Mobile Cinema Remote Areas Tour," "Taiwan Superhero Film Project," and the "Taiwan Superhero AR Digital Picture Book." To date, HDRE has contributed nearly NT$20 million to these initiatives.

In recognition of its continuous efforts in cultural sustainability, the company received both the Arts & Business Silver Award and the Cultural Sustainability Award from Taiwan's Ministry of Culture in 2023.

Since its establishment in 2016, HDRE has advanced its ESG initiatives across multiple fronts — from green power adoption, carbon reduction, and biodiversity conservation to investment in education and cultural resources — continuously expanding its circle of sustainable impact. In 2024, the company was recognized with the BSI Sustainable Development Award for its achievements. Moving forward, HDRE will continue integrating professional expertise with social engagement, driving both energy and cultural sustainability to fulfill its commitment to intergenerational well-being.
