Eugene Chien, Chairman of the TAISE, is invited to Circular Economy Forum to share his vision for a twin transformation

The TASS 2025 Sustainable Taiwan Expo (TASS2025), the most influential sustainability event in the Asia-Pacific region, will be grandly held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from November 5 to 7. Co-organized by Intercon Convention Management (Intercon) and the Taiwan Alliance for Sustainable Supply (TASS), the event serves as a premier platform driving industrial collaboration toward net-zero transformation.

Now in its sixth edition, TASS2025 adopts the theme "Green Transformation, Sustainable Future," connecting five major sectors—energy, manufacturing, technology, environment, and construction—to showcase Taiwan's tangible progress in sustainable innovation and carbon reduction. The expo will gather hundreds of domestic and international exhibitors and professional buyers, establishing itself as a vital hub for advancing sustainable supply chains and the circular economy across the region.

The opening ceremony, to be held on November 5 in the morning, will feature representatives from central government ministries, global organizations, and leading enterprises, marking a key milestone in Taiwan's green transition.

According to Intercon General Manager Tanya Tseng, TASS2025 is more than an exhibition, it is a strategic platform promoting collaboration in energy transition and sustainable supply chains, allowing the world to witness Taiwan's leadership in sustainability. This year's event will include six themed exhibition zones, international forums, business matchmaking sessions, and professional site visits, offering diverse opportunities for exchange and cooperation.

International Procurement and Supply Alliance Drives Sustainable Development Across the Asia-Pacific

Intercon noted that carbon reduction, green energy, and sustainability have become global imperatives, with countries across the Asia-Pacific actively seeking innovative green solutions. This year's TASS2025 has therefore attracted international procurement delegations from key markets including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. The event is expected to strengthen regional collaboration and advance sustainable development throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Record-Breaking Business Matchmaking as ESG Leaders Explore New Collaboration Opportunities

Beyond being a showcase for cutting-edge technologies, the Sustainable Taiwan Expo (TASS) has also become a key platform for business matchmaking and industry collaboration. Over the past five years (2020–2024), the event has generated nearly NT$2.5 billion in business opportunities.

This year, TASS2025 will once again bring together leading corporations—including Formosa Plastics Group, Taipower, Everlight Chemical, Grand Pacific Petrochemical, LCY Chemical, Linde LienHwa, and Corning Taiwan—to engage in business matchmaking sessions with exhibitors. These meetings will foster in-depth one-on-one discussions on ESG-driven solutions, paving the way for innovative partnerships and sustainable growth.

International Forum Explores Sustainability Trends Empowering Enterprises to Navigate the Future

Throughout the three-day event, TASS2025 will host a series of "Net-Zero Transition Solution" forums, focusing on five key themes: building energy efficiency, energy transition, geothermal power, resource circularity, and sustainable supply chains. The forums will feature distinguished speakers from the Architecture and Building Research Institute (Ministry of the Interior), the Energy Administration (Ministry of Economic Affairs), ASE Group, United Renewable Energy, the British Standards Institution (BSI), and leaders of various international supply chain associations. Together, they will provide comprehensive insights, from policy frameworks and technological innovations to practical case studies, to outline actionable pathways for industries striving toward net-zero emissions and a circular economy.

In addition, the organizers will host an exclusive technical site visit to the Tainan Yongkang Water Resource Recovery Center and Reclaimed Water Plant, which will be open to the public for the first time. As a flagship project of Taiwan's reclaimed water policy, the facility serves as a model for sustainable urban wastewater recycling and water resource management. Industry participants will gain first-hand understanding of operational practices and circular water solutions. Registration is open until October 31.

Kaohsiung Showcases New Momentum in Green Industries

TASS2025 brings together the latest achievements in green energy, sustainable innovation, smart manufacturing, low-carbon materials, and circular economy solutions, positioning Kaohsiung as the new sustainability hub of Asia. According to the organizers, this year's exhibition not only highlights net-zero technologies and solutions, but also connects domestic and international industrial value chains to help enterprises navigate carbon trading, green procurement, and ESG strategies, driving a comprehensive transformation and upgrade across industries.
