Taipower to Launch RE30 Product on June 1 Providing Low-Carbon Power to Support Global Expansion of Taiwanese Enterprises
Taipower emphasizes that RE30 plays a role in providing timely support to the green electricity market. Based on the user's monthly electricity consumption, privately sourced green power will be prioritized, with RE30 used to fill the remaining gap up to 30%. For example, if a company purchases 1 million kWh of RE30 for one year (including 300,000 kWh of green power), this can meet its monthly electricity needs. If the company uses 100,000 kWh in a month and receives 10,000 kWh of green power from a private supplier, Taipower will supplement the remaining 20,000 kWh to help the company reach the 30% renewable energy usage target.

Go Net Zero & Go Green Forum:Industry and Government Unite to Advance from Pledges to Concrete Climate Action
The 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) will convene in November in Belém, Brazil. COP30 president André Corrêa do Lago stressed that climate summits must move from words to real action. In response to such a vision and to promote action-oriented climate strategies, the Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance (GESA) under SEMI is hosting the "Go Net Zero & Go Green Forum" on May 14. With real actions at its core, the forum gathers state institutions, semiconductor giants, and key leaders from low-carbon energy and sustainable technologies to discuss sustainable power development, carbon management, green manufacturing, low-carbon technologies, SAF, water resource sustainability, and multiple sources of green energy. The forum explores in depth how Taiwan can accelerate substantive GHG reduction with policy and technology.
